"JB" loved growing up in Newberg where he had made many friends. JB, 20 years old, graduated with the NHS class of 2003. He passed away August 5th 2006, just a few weeks before he was to turn 21, and 2 hours after he married his childhood sweetheart Emily Cook. They had a big church wedding. This is what JB wanted. His last words to us before he passed away were "I got married today". Getting married was his dying wish.

For the past few years JB has been actively involved in his youth group at First Baptist Church, and helped as a leader with Newberg Middle School members of the church.

JB has also enjoyed the outdoors, including dirt bikes and wake boarding, snow boarding, camping, fishing, and frisby golf. He brought sense of humor to everything he did. He will be missed so much. He was such a wonderful person, and roll model for so many.
